How to install brushes in photoshop ?

 We learned how to install Fonts in photoshop . Today in this article ,we will learn step by step installation of new brushes. It will take hardly 3-4 minutes. Intallation of brushes is little bit different but very easy . 

Step 1 :
First you have to find free brushes on internet. you can download the large number of free brushes from www.brushkin.eu , www.brusheezy.com  or google it. Unzip the downloaded folder , you will get .ABR file and some text files of license  . copy .ABR file.

Step 2:
 You can place .ABR file anywhere on your PC but it is better to place  in "brushes" folder. Go to following path and Paste copied .ABR file in brushes folder. 
MAC OS -
/ Users / /  Library / Application Support / Adobe / Adobe Photoshop  / Presets / Brushes

Windows -
C:/ Program Files / Adobe / Adobe Photoshop /Presets / brushes

Step 3:

 Run Adobe photoshop and select " Brush Tool"

Now in option palette ,Click on down arrow to open Brush preset Picker .

Step 4 :

Now click on Right arrow in upper right corner.

Select Load brushes option from drop down menu.

 Browse for .ABR file along same path where you pasted downloaded file .

MAC OS -
/ Users / /  Library / Application Support / Adobe / Adobe Photoshop  / Presets / Brushes

Windows -
C:/ Program Files / Adobe / Adobe Photoshop CS5 or CS6 /Presets / brushes.

Load the file , now new brush will appear in brush list.

*Note - Do not install too many brushes, it lowers photoshop performance.
