How to open Hue/saturation Dialogue Box ?
Go to Image -> Image Adjustment -> Hue / Saturation
Shortcut - Ctrl+U (windows) , Command+U
Hue/Saturation Adjustment
There are three sliders Hue,Saturation and lightness.
- If you slide Hue slider to left ,it will make image cooler and if slide to right,image will make warmer.
- If you slide Saturation to left,it takes out the color from image.If you slide slider to all the way to left image become black and white( Zero color).And oposite if you slide to right(Full Color).
3. Lightness slider is used to increase or decrease brightness of image
Hue/Saturation image adjustment tool

This tool is situated at left bottom corner of Hue/saturation dialogue box.This is very handy tool. Let's see how to use it
- Select tool by simply clicking on it. Now move pointer on image ,pointer will change to tool that looks like eye dropper tool.
- Now click on image and hold on , Now you will see arrow to left and right.
- If you drag pointer to left or right ,It will decrease or increase the saturation of all pixels that have same color as selected pixel ,Not affecting remaining image (or pixel) . If you drag slider all the way to left, selected pixel will become black and white.
- Now if you want to change hue with this tool, click by holding control key(ctrl+click) on windows and command+click on mac and drag pointer left or right .It will now change hue not saturation.
- If you want to apply same level of Hue or saturation to other colors(pixel), you can use + Hue/Saturation tool .Select +Hue/saturation tool situated at right bottom side.And click on color (pixel) on which you want to apply same hue/saturation effect.

- Opposite to +Hue/saturation tool , -Hue saturation tool is used to nullify effect.
